Easter fixtures on the NABC

Fixture dates include Easter Sunday 4th April and then 11th and 18th April inclusive.

The management Committee of the Pin Point Recruitment NABC Football League have taken the decision to implement a complete fixture list over the whole of the Easter period.

As a league we fully understand some clubs will have problems in pitch availability but we ask for all clubs to support the league and give their co-operation to get as many games played as possible. Whilst we, as a committee appreciate problems may arise, we believe all member clubs will support our decision.

In support of this decision, may we also highlight the fact to all clubs that we do not have any official ruling stating that fixtures will NOT take place on any given date, we therefore would draw your attention to the NABC League rule 5 (c), which states:

Clubs wishing to be free on a certain occasion should submit an application, in writing to the League secretary at least four weeks (28 days) before the fixture list is compiled. Please note: Club secretaries should NOT assume that the league committee will automatically grant any requests.

Therefore, in accordance with league rules, if a team wish to apply for dispensation over the Easter period, a written request clearly stating the exact dates and reasons why must be received by the league no later than:

• 2pm FRIDAY 5th MARCH 2010

The date above ensures the league receive the agreed minimum notice of 28 days, if no request is received by this date you will receive an official fixture as per league rules.
